The Lost Blog - 12/20/12 Hurricane Sandy

After months of not updating my blog I came across this draft that I never published...

Although still caught in the aftermath of hurricane Sandy, my town as well as my family are slowly recuperating.  I never thought we'd have to go through an experience like this.  I'm thankful that my friends and family are safe yet am speechless as to what has happened.  My home as well as hundreds of others is not livable.  The date of our return is not known nor is the outcome of our home.  Within the months to come I hope to bring you good news.  As of right now we're holding our heads high and I'm keeping the camera clicking. Hopefully I can bring you some new photos soon. Thank you for reading :-)

...Since this draft the fate of our home has been determined.  We have to knock down our home.   The place I have grew up in for the past 11 years.  ETA for reconstruction is 2014.  It breaks my heart that in a short 3 months it will be a year since Sandy and we are still displaced.  The only thing we can do right now is pray and keep our fingers crossed that we will soon be home.  Most importantly be thankful that we are alive and well.  Things could always be worse. Thanks for reading everyone! Happy Monday :-)

BlueDayDo Photoshoot

The musician BlueDayDo is a one man band and is truly amazing at what he does.  I was lucky enough to be in Georgia recently to photograph him in his own environment.  I will have his photos up on my website soon so keep an eye out.

To hear some BlueDayDo you can find him on Reverbnation as well as his YouTube channel. Happy listening!
